STUNNING Lambo Diablo reproduction utilizing custom tube Fiero chassis (properly streched). Professionally built in 2005 by the Car Factory (Mike Vetter expert car builder), fully completed and everything is functional (Wiper, Lights, turn signals, AC blows COLD, Heater, Power Windows [per design they only go halfway down, see video]).
VIN is actually "NCS93834", but eBay wanted the orig chassis VIN. Clear title, no liens, I guarantee a smooth transaction for the buyer. Titled as a "2001 Lambo Diablo" (see pics), insurance companies have no issues as it pulls up as a "2001 Pontiac Fiero" in their system (funny, I know!).
No Trades sorry (price is very reasonable, you probably won't find another one like this), I'm saving up for a gated F430. I've been an eBay member for almost 16yrs and have perfect feedback selling several cars and other high-value items. eBay covers the buyer up-to-$50K so no worries (1. US Seller [Yes], 2. Clear Title [Yes]). Payment by Wire Transfer is preferred since I can sign-and-overnight car title and two sets of keys to new buyer, then I will leave one set with the car transport person (since shipping will be handled by the buyer, I can recommend several friendly/reliable people that offer enclosed vehicle shipping). I can also take a cashier's check, but will have to wait for check to clear before I transfer the car title. All communication should be handled through eBay messaging which is preferred.
Again, this car is Turn-key (not an unfinished project car) and ready-to-drive! I'm an IT guy, not a car mechanic and wanted a completed car so this was it. The maintenance bills for this Lambo are hilariously 3-5% of what I pay for maintenance on my Ferrari. Over the past 2 years that I've owned the car, it's always serviced by Tapps Garage (hotrod expert and builder Jim Tapp, they work on classics for customers like Tom Shane). They've assured me that "suspension, breaks, etc are like new, CAR NEEDS NOTHING" even after I offered them an open checkbook last winter. I have most receipts going back many years (see pics, the big one was >$4k for fully rebuilt trans). No leaks, doesn't burn oil/fluids. etc.
Custom orange lambo paint with custom white stitched interior with orange piping. Double-thick fiberglass. I'm 6'1" and comfortable in this car. If you're over 6'3" you may have to swap-out the seat.
SWEET Alpine DVD player with JL Audio 300/4 Amplifier with 6 Speaker system.
Factory OZ Racing wheels (worth a whole lot just by themselves, upgraded locking bolts with lug key), OEM glass/emblems. 6.0 V12 engine cover. Wheels and tires in excellent condition (see pics on lift).
Suspension is custom with coil over shocks on all 4 corners (custom duel RS Racing adjustable coil over shocks in the front x 2 each side and 2 rear total of 6 coil over shocks).
a rock-solid Buick 3.8 liter Fi Engine, 4-speed Automatic Transmission (newly rebuilt) that looks like a gated shifter (computer from Buick LaSabre). Less than 2,000 miles currently on the odometer! (~4,000 miles total since the build's inception). I don't know mileage of original motor/trans/year ~1987 chassis/etc before the build.
Sweet exhaust sounds (see vid near the end where I give it some juice). Car starts up strong and reliably every time, no weird idle, no rough idle, no dying at stoplights, VERY reliable drivetrain. Nice integrated battery tender installed.
Upgraded 3-core aluminum racing-grade radiator, temperature stays perfect and car never overheats, powerful fan turns on when needed (see/hear video where I walk around the car and also shows temp gauge after hours of driving). I've been stuck in hour-long traffic jams in this car, no problem at all, actually pretty fun as I blast the DVD stereo while on-lookers get to enjoy the Gandini-inspired Italian curves. A big reason I enjoy this car is because I can literally cruise downtown city streets for hours. Please note that this car is low, so look-out for those potholes (thankfully suspension is super-tight, but I probably wouldn't drive this car across the county unless you want to make sport of avoiding all the bad roads/potholes, but YES the car drivetrain would handle the drive). As a side note, I've attempted to cruise traffic-packed downtown in my manual Ferrari's and it's brutal, whereas THIS car lets you cruise around town easily (I wouldn't attempt frequenting the busy city in a REAL diablo 6.0, probably the reason you don't see those owners out there eating-up their clutches). Transmission is rock solid, reverse very strong, etc.
Remote door locks (can unlock driver's/passenger's door separately from keyfob) and remote rear engine hatch. Shaved door handles, you simply lift the door near the bottom to open. Inside there's a center control panel with switches for power windows/door locks/hood/rear engine hatch/accessory kill flip switch).
Please see pics for all the issues that I know of (the spots with the hairline cracks have been there since I purchased and have not spread since, btw the body's fiberglass is double-strength/double-thickness from what I was told and it's very tough), wiper works fine but there's no wiper-fluid/reservoir (not a problem for me as this car has never seen rain/snow). There's also a non-working air-ride gauge thingy on the dash if you want to add air-ride suspension in the future.
Thank you for reading this far, I've described everything I know about the car, backed-up by photos and running video/highway driving. My apologies in advance if I don't get to all your questions since most people can deduce their answer from re-reading this description or having their mechanic look through these photos with them. I'm an IT computer guy and just drive these things (the Lord has been Good for sure!), unfortunatley I don't work on cars or build them.
Lastly, this car gets MASSIVE ATTENTION, some of the fun pics I've included (orange car in "the wild") show gear heads surround the car when you pull up and kids go nuts seeing the scissor-doors. Very fun, perhaps it's the lambo orange, low profile, super wide rear tires and wide stance that people really enjoy. I've parked next to buddies with Ferrari 458's and '90's Diablos, yet people really surround this one. That said, this car would be excellent for marketing/advertising since people whip-out their phones like crazy to get a pic.
