You are looking at a rare 1956 Ford F350. It has the 272 V8 motor with a Synch 4 speed transmission. The motor has had a recent valve job, and new head gaskets. The motor runs great, the clutch feels good, and no noises in the transmission or rear end. The brakes have been inspected and repaired, just needed new cylinders in the front.
This truck was 95% rust free when we started. There was no rust in the floors or the cab, but there was a couple of spots in the doors, which were repaired. This truck has really good lines, the hood fits good, opens and shuts excellent. We gave this old '56 Ford has a brand-new urethane paint job, painted the factory green paint code “SS”. The front bumper and running boards were removed, stripped and painted black. The bed is a Ford factory stake bed (9X7). The bed was removed, sanded and painted on both sides. The rear frame was painted at the same time. Brand new 2x6 floor, new 1x4 side racks with 2x4 braces all painted with urethane before installed.
This truck has the chrome deluxe grill with the V8 emblem. The tires are size 750x16, the rears are in excellent shape, the fronts are showing some cracks. The stock wiring looks to be in excellent shape. The motor compartment has been detailed and it still has the original paint on the firewall. New muffler and single exhaust.
All the lights work. It has new mirror heads and a new factory floor mat. The seat is original, with a the new O'Reilly seat cover. The electric wipers work good, with new wiper blades. The heater works excellent. The oil and amp lights work, but the gas and temperature gauge do not. The dash is all original paint, and hasn't been cut. All the switches are in nice shape, and a good original steering wheel. This truck needs a new headliner. The windshield has a couple of stars and one crack in the passenger side window.
These 1956 Ford trucks were the most popular 50's trucks ever made. They had the most stylish looking cab. This truck needs very little to be a show winner! Take a good look and have fun bidding!
