Description |
---|
1958 Plymouth Plaza. Car originally had a slant-6 with 3-on-the-tree. Now has 400 and a torqueflite from a 1976 Cordoba and rear end from a '71 Charger, I believe. Also has disc brakes in front, and an electric fan in front of the radiator that is controlled by thermostat. Newer tires on painted wheels with cool caps.
Interior replacement has been started. Seats and carpet are done. Material for door panels, headliner, etc are included. Needs stripping for windows and such. Also needs radio.
Car goes down the road great. I drive it as it is and thoroughly enjoy it. If you're looking for something with timeless styling that you don't see many of, and want something you can drive and enjoy right away, but still has room for improvement & personalization, email me with questions. If you're looking for something show ready, keep looking.
I will take more photos of the car when I take it out again, if it ever stops raining. I do have another dozen photos I can send. I use hotmail, and the handle is 'nicolusk'. If you want more photos, that's the easiest. Ebay wants more $ to post more.
I don't need to sell the car. I am likely making a real estate purchase and the extra funds would definitely help, but I'm not going to give it away. I looked for a Plymouth for a long time before I found one in decent shape I could afford, and I'm not going to sell it at a price I'll be kicking myself for later. I'll probably be kicking myself anyway.
