Description |
---|
I have a clean 1965 Mercury Comet Caliente up for your consideration.
It has a 1968 302 and a C-4 Automatic. I have not made any attempt to turn it over so the condition of the internals is unknown.
The front floor boards will need to be replaced but the rears are solid. These floors share the samestamping'sas the 1964 and 1965 Falcon and first generation Mustangs. As far as floors go, these are easy as they drop and weld in from the top.
The body is very clean, the doors, rockers, aprons, core support, shock towers, trunk floor, quarterextensionshave no rot. No rot in the quarter panels wheel openings in the nor in the quarter wheel houses.
There are two, quarter size holes in the left quarter where the side moldings attach
The rear is a 8" and I believe original to the car. This car will need a complete suspension overhaul to be road worthy or better yet, a full restoration.
It is however an ideal donorcandidatefor your project, that iswhat I bought it for but have decided that my health wont permit me to continue that route.
The Cyclone hub caps are NOT included in this auction.
Please ask any and all questions before bidding. There will be no refunds!
You are responsible for all shippingarrangements.Thank you for looking and happy bidding!

The title on this car is a clear. "Lien Sale" title. It has a bill of sale format. It was a car that was not picked up after being serviced by a mechanic in CA. It ended up being sold at a "Lien Sale" held in Sacramento, CA unit # P352055064 by the Department of Motor Vehicles in 1996. I have the documents that will allow you to obtain your title. I will include a "Bill of Sale" to you to back the document up if needed.
