Ann Arbor Sportscar is pleased to offer a rare TR3B in original condition. This car is VIN # TCF 469 L with the 2.2 liter TR4 engine number TCF 503E and 4-speed all-synchromesh transmission. It is a rare Triumph TR3B, one of only 2,804 cars produced by Triumph with the new Triumph TR4 2.2 liter 4-cylinder engine.
The last owner had this car for over 52 years ! This car has been in dry storage for the last 25+ years. It comes with a clear Michigan title.
This car is complete and in all-original unrestored condition. It will require considerable bodywork repairs including driver's side floorpan, inner and outer sills (rockers), lower front fender patch panels, rear fender doglegs and door skins. The frame is very solid and in good overall condition with heavy surface rust and scale but no rust-through. The engine appears to be stuck and will not turn over. The car rolls very freely: front brake calipers were removed to facilitate transport and are included. The buyer will also receive the convertible top frame assembly and side curtains in original condition that are shown in the separate photos.
Prospective buyers are welcome to look at the car in person at our shop in Ann Arbor. The buyer must make all shipping and transportation arrangements. We will assist in anyway that we can to facilitate process. You do not have to use any of the Uship partners listed here but these may give you additional options and ideas about costs for shipping the car. Please e-mail us, or call or text 734-263-3070 if you have any questions before you commit to buying this car..
