This may well be the most highly optioned 1997 non-turbo Porsche to come out of the factory. It has $40,660 of factory options! The window sticker shows a total of $117,690.
The car was a special order vehicle. The special paint color called "Satin Linen" was a match to sample color. The interior leather was also a match to sample color. This 911 Cabriolet was manufactured in February, 1997. It was sold to the original and only owner on 05/12/97.
The owner is now 87 years old and he realizes that it is time to pass the baton on his beloved Porsche. It has always been garaged and serviced regularly by Scottsdale Porsche. Here is your chance to own maybe the most unique 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet non-turbo car ever produced!
This 911 is part of the 993 series. The 993's were sold from late 1993 to early 1998. They were brought to the U.S. in 1995. The 993's are the last hand assembled and air cooled Porsche 911's. Truly the end of an era.
There are only 17,111 actual miles on this great machine. The Michelin tires were installed in the past couple of years. It has been recently serviced and is ready to roll.
I am assisting the owner, a close family friend for 40+ years with this sale. It is a
