Description |
---|
This is a very nice ’65 Ford Falcon Sprint that has been restored is ready to be driven and enjoyed. It runs and drives great, very clean car that someone will be very pleased with. The actual mileage is unknown, and I do not know if it is the original numbers matching engine/trans/rear end. See below for a detailed description.
Exterior:
The paint was done professionally and is nice. No major dents or scratches that I can see. The chrome on the car is driver quality and does have some blemishes/scratching but is definitely presentable. The glass on the car is driver quality and is presentable the way it is. The doors, trunk lid and hood all shut nicely, the trunk is nice and clean, all windows operate as they should.
Interior:
The interior of this Falcon is very nice, looks very sharp with bucket seats and a console. The seats have recently been redone (front and rear), the carpet is new and the headliner is nice. The dash has been nicely painted, door panels are nice but in need of arm rests. Besides that nothing that I can see needs to be repaired or redone – again very nice interior. The fuel, and temp gauges work as well as the blower. The speedometer and horn do not work.
Undercarriage:
Very nice condition underneath, nicely detailed with one patch that I can see. It was done correctly and isn’t very noticeable. This car looks very impressive on a lift, no disappointments.
Drivetrain:
The 289ci engine runs very well and starts right up. Engine sounds great with a mild cam, x-pipe, manifolds, Edelbrock carb and Edelbrock aluminum intake. The engine compartment is nice and clean, we just installed a new battery and starter. The manual steering and manual drum brakes work as they should and the car goes down the road very nice and rides on 14" aluminum wheels.
