1986 Chevy S10 Blazer.-2 owners-135,500 miles-No accidents-Clean title-AutoCheck score of 53, above range.-2.8L V6 TBI engine.I just drove this truck down to Bowling Green from Lexington (three hour drive) and I've been driving into downtown from the county and back daily for the past few weeks. The truck does like to overheat when driving around in slow city traffic on hot days for long periods of time. There is a slow transmission fluid leak that I haven't had time to check into yet. I'm still driving it, but I try and check the fluid level every couple of days and top it off when needed. The A/C compressor was removed but is still with the vehicle if you would like to reattach it. No air conditioning, obviously.Tires are in good shape with plenty of life left in them.Brakes are fine except that the truck pulls slightly to the right when braking at 50+ mph. They stop the vehicle well and don't squeal or shudder.Oil was changed a couple of weeks ago. Air filter, MAP sensor, radiator hose, thermostat, and battery were all replaced within the past month.Interior is in great shape except for the sun visors, which have some loose fabric. The glove compartment has a broken hinge but will still open and close. Radio will occasionally jump around from station to station on its own. Backseat folds down as it should for added cargo space.Glass hatch above the tailgate opens but the tailgate itself doesn't come down. I believe this to be an easy fix but not one I've gotten around to yet.The driver's side window has a glitch where it rolls up slowly and stops before making it all the way to the top. If you give it a rest and try it later it will be fine and can be closed. Alternator and battery seem fine, as does the passenger side window.I'm fairly certain the 4WD is working properly but I haven't shifted it over in a while and can't say with 100% certainty.Front left blinker is out, I believe. The suspension seems fine, if a little bouncy.Gas mileage is what it is. Not the worst, but definitely not the best.I was paranoid about rust when I bought this truck so I checked it out thoroughly before making the purchase a few years ago. There are a few spots, mostly near the rear wheel wells. See photos.I've tried to be as thorough as possible and list every issue I can think of but I'd be happy to answer your questions if you have any. Will include the Chilton book and the official GM service manual for the truck, no charge.
