Description

So I finally have to let her go.. My beloved 1994 Yukon. I have owned this truck since April of this past year (2016). A lot of time and work went into this truck, and it has served me well. It is still currently on the road, and driving, but due to a work related injury I must sell it to pay for medical costs and the like. This is a rare 1994 GMC Yukon SLE. It sports lots of good solid options including the proven GM 350 engine and auto tranny bolted on to a nice 1/2 ton k1500 frame. These trucks sit at around 5500LB curb weight, they are built like rocks. So I have some information below I will try to be as thorough as possible.
The truck is a New York State titled vehicle. The title is clean (no rebuilds or salvage), lien free, and I am the sole owner listed on the title. The truck sports 4x4, not push button but the better floor shifting kind. The 4x4 works in all modes (tried this past year upon purchase). Tranny is automatic, and shifts as it should. The engine is a 5.7L v8 (the tried & true 350), and the truck runs fine. I cannot guarantee anything, and the truck is an "as-is" sale, but my gosh what a strong runner and a dependable truck this has been for me. Minus the obvious cosmetics (see pics) this truck has been reliable, tough, and unkillable mechanically. The frame is good, with only rust on the surface, no rot or holes. I have kept the truck garage/barn kept primarily throughout its time under my ownership. The year (1994/1995) is verydesirablefor its better interior quality build and classic styling. the SLE model sported a rugged suspension and a 1/2 ton frame. This is a truck that will tow a lot of weight, but still retains a sporty two door look not found in today's trucks. See below for some more detailed information regarding maintenance:

[Previous owner's work done to truck/replaced]- engine refurbished at approximately 250k (about 35k ago)- transmission serviced and rebuilt same time as engine (about 35k ago)- windshield replaced by previous owner- the window repair and flag (american flag) done by previous owner
[What I (current owner & seller) have done to truck/replaced]- exhaust (installed by mechanic) custom built straight back with high flow muffler- y pipe and bushings done at same time, brand new OEM y-pipe installed in front of exhaust- rear u-joint brand new, replaced /professionallypressed- tranny pan (replaced with refurb used one)- tranny pan gasket (felpro warrantied, RTV silicone sealed)- tranny cooling line(s) replaced from block back- rear hatch hydrualics, glass, and frame replaced- rear wiper replaced, rewired, working- rear defrost/glass heating rewired, working- rear hatch release (button controlled) replaced, working- Lund visor installed- Lund step ups installed- amber fog lights and toggle switch installed (front bumper)- rear towing package, wiring (installed by mechanic) I believe class 2 or 3, good hitch!- rear cargo protector mat purchased in april- POR-15 coating on rust for fender and body protection- various fuse replacements- older model CD/AM/FM stereo deck installed (old stock deck wasn't working)- small hardwired rear subwoofer speaker installed- sun visor clips (retainers) installed- passenger's side window switch replaced- brand newserpentinebelt just installed- relatively recent battery
[TLC/Needed]- engine due for tuneup (plugs, wires, etc.)- parking brake gear not shifting into place (cables need to be adjusted on underside of truck, this is a recent issue and an easy fix, all other gears work fine r,n,d,od,1,2)- ebrake cable snapped, needs replacement (will include $75 chock if need be)- eventually needs standard brake rotor replacement (starting to vibrate a bit upon stopping, truck still stops excellent, but will need attention eventually)- onetireloses air after a few days of driving (or a week after sitting) I am including and extra FULL SET of OEM full sized tires and rims to go with truck- OBVIOUS cosmetics will need to be addressed (if you care about looks) - there is NO structural damage, just some dings and dents from the previous owner.- will need a door lock key reprinted (GM/Chevy dealer can do that upon seeing the title in your name, costs maybe $15 for a new key)

This truck is nicknamed the "General Grant" because of it's obvious aesthetic USA patriotic appeal! I ended up really liking the American Flag on it, so I never bothered to rip off the metal and wood frame (still passed inspection) to put in a window. The truck has patina, it has obvious wear, but it is an animal. You will NOT be afraid to use this truck for work, towing, etc. I do not want to get rid of her, but have to. KBB has this truck listed for anywhere from $2200 upwards to $4000. I am listing the starting point low, as to make a quick sale and procure funds for upcoming surgery costs. If you have ANY QUESTIONS, do not hesitate to ask me! The buyer/winning bidder must pay the deposit within the specified time frame. Also, very important note:
** I reserve the right as current owner of the vehicle to terminate this auction early in the event that the Yukon SLE listed here is sold locally (it is listed on numerous site including eBay, craigslist, etc.) ** The final sale is an "as-is" with no warranties implied or included. The title is clear, in my name, and I am the sole owner of this vehicle. It passed NYS inspection this April, but may require work to pass in your state. It is the responsibility of the buyer to check their respective state regulations, laws, and requirements prior to purchase, and make a decision based on the information I have provided in this listing. I have listed all issues, and positive points to the best of my mechanical and intellectual abilities. Thanks again for your compliance, and good luck bidders!
