This Bel Air is totally original - non restored. 19,877 miles as of 5/3/2016.
Originally purchased by my Great Aunt in December of 1954 from GuaranteeChevrolet in Santa Ana, California. Has been in California and Garage Kept since 1954. Still registered in originally Issued Plates. Only driven to and from Grocery store for 38 years (2.3 miles). Mygrandfather installed a trickle charger in the early 60's to keep the car charged (see plug in front bumper).
See pictures for provenance of mileage - several stickers from service through the years are still on the car.
Longest Trip was from Santa Ana to San Diego in 1999.
Paint is in great condition for the age. There are some rust pit marks in the paint, a few chips, and a few scratches. But again, this is totally original - never restored. This Bel Air is ORIGINAL - and they're only original once!
Engine and Transmission are numbers matching andoriginal to the vehicle. Transmission was removed and re-sealed about 5 years ago. Interior isoriginal and unrestored. Notears in any of theupholstery. Carpet does have some wearmarks onthe drivers side from ingress and egress. All Glass isoriginaland chip free.
Feel free to send me any questions or request anyadditional pictures.
