I purchased this car as part of an estate sale that involved multiple cars. I am a collector but lean more toward street rods and not the original cars. This 36 is just waytoo niceof an original car to street rod out. Itis a flat head v8 car in very nice condition, I was told by the family that it was their fathers pride and joy and hetook it to numerous car shows.
The car is all original with the exception of turn signals and seat belts installed for safety reasons.(also a temp gauge) The stainless is in great condition, some of the chrome has some small pitting, the paint is inok condition whatI would consider "driver quality" . The frame and floors and body are in great condition (see photos) I was told it had a complete restoration by the previous owner. I alsohave a folder full of receipts that will go with the car. There is also pics of the engine being rebuilt in the file.
I drove the car home about 20 miles, it runs great no smoke and starts right u, It also has a new battery. It did sputter a little the last few miles but I know the gas was about 9 months old, I did drain it and put fresh rec gas in and drove it a few blocks, it seems to of done the trick.
I tried to let you guys know everything I know about the car, It really is a nice car. WhenI picked up the car I found the window crank was broke,(not sure what happened)it still rolls up and downbut the crank (square) is broke off at the set pin. AnywayI ordered another nice regulator on ebay and expect it to arrivein a few days, it will also go with the car.
You guys can check my feedback as a seller, I am very honest with my cars. I want you to be happy with your purchase and know exactly what your buying. I encourage inspections but if you cant make it here I would be happy to "facetime" with you if you have a Iphone and walk you around it. I would be happy to assist you with shipping and have a shipper that I have used for several of my carswho is pretty reasonable.
I have set the reserve very low in my opinion and plan to let the auction run its course. If it doesn't sell then contact me after the auction and we can talk "price or reserve". (not before) This is a auction! lol !
Now for the disclaimer, the car is sold "as-is" where it is. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hrs of buying, balance within 7 days. It will not ship until thewire transfer clears. The car has a clear Floridatitle andis located in Cape Coral Fla.
Please be serious and have the funds if your going to bid. If you have zero feedback call me before bidding orI will cancel your bid. Its not for sale locally but I still reserve the right to end the auction early for any reason.
Feel free to contact me anytime between 10:00 am and 11:00 pm eastern time at 734-845-6564 with any questions. Thank you for looking. Tim
