First of all... I am listing this truck for a friend of mine. He is fine mechanic and body man... just not so fine with computers and what not. So I am helping him out here. If you have any questions at all you can reach him at: (712) 310-7875 his name is Kevin.
Here is what he has done.
Its a 1977 Chevy Scottsdale K1500 that started life as a 2wd. He also had a 4wd with a rough body so he swapped this very nice truck to the 4wd chassis. Everything is dialed in. When the body was removed from the 4wd chassis, the frame was hotsyed and painted with acrylic enamel. He undercoated the bottom of the cab and box, the seat was reupholstered, new dash pad, new carpet, new door seals, crate 350 motor, new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing, new clutch lever arm, flow master 2 1/2" exhaust, headers, new cam and lifters with 260 grind, dual tanks both work, new front bumper, new billet grill, new edelbrock carb, newer battery, all new hoses, new plugs, new cap, rotor, points & condenser, new wires, roll pan in rear with new 6,000 lb hitch.
The miles noted above(57,040) are the actual miles on the body of the truck. The motor is a new crate 350 that has less than 500 miles on it.
The truck was painted a couple of years ago and then never got finished so it sat until the last couple of weeks and was finished. It is very nice but not perfect.
This truck is a great runner. It sounds good, drives good and shifts like it should.
Like I said before, please call Kevin if you have any questions or shoot me a message and I can have him call you. I encourage anyone to come and test drive it or he can take it in for a pre purchase inspection to a shop of your choice in the Sheridan area.
The pics in this ad do not do this truck justice. It was raining so the spots on the bumper and seat are rain drops.
