The AMG you've been looking for.
Most performance cars under 10K have been abused--its a sketchy market to buy in. People who want fast cars drive them hard and there's not much left by the time they depreciate from their stratospheric price.
This AMG is in excellent condition. It has been owned, driven and cared for by middle-aged adults.
If you want a car that you can treat like an appliance--a machine that can just get you from point A to point B--this car is not for you. Buy a Camry.
If you love driving, and are capable of real automobile romance, and you want a true sports car, this car is for you. And you're getting it for the price of a Camry.
Its 3.2L Supercharged V-6 engine uts out 350 hp. 332 ft-lbs @ 4400 rpm. 0-60 in 5.4. Rated "excellent" in handling and braking. Top-grain leather Heated seats. Premium sound. Sunroof/moonroof. Sports-grade suspension. Air bags all around. MSRP $50,000. Nada values this at $9250.
For those of you who don't know what an AMG is, learn. Its Mercedes' performance line. This car is Benz's answer to the BMW M3. Will stay with a 2016 WRX (275hp) to 70 mph, and then easily leave it in the dust. But its not a punk car...
This has been the best car I've ever owned. Faster than my WRX. Better handling and not as bulky as my Chargers. Fancier and more practical than my 350Z (4 doors, seats 5, and more trunk space). Way better looking that my CLK55 amg. Faster, more beautiful, and more comfortable than my M3s. So much more reliable than my S55 AMG. Handles and accelerates like my Audi S8. I wanted a car that had the power of my Charger but handling like my 350Z. This doesn't disappoint.
Why selling? i have 2 of them....so I need to get rid of 1 to downsize the fleet.
Beauty of this car is that its a sleeper. Its been de-badged. The AMG, "Kompressor," and C32 badges have all been removed. No tinted windows or after-market exhaust system betray what this car is. You drive around looking like you're in a classy, modest sedan. Until you feel like flaunting it...
The wheels and tail pipe tips still have the AMG logos.
Everything is in great shape. Interior is impeccable. Transmission and motor very smooth, very strong. Suspension in great shape. Everything works (seat motors, windows, sunroof, sound system, trunk, mirrors, horn, air bags, traction control, stability control, anti-lock brakes, heater, A/C, 6-disc CD changer, navigation, headlight washers, .). Always serviced on time. Had a body computer, and seat motor replaced this year by a Mercedes Benz Master Mechanic. Body is free of major dents, but paint has small scratches and chips incident to normal use.Needs tires. Passenger seat works, but it draws the battery if left plugged in. Not an issue when the car is driven every day, but if left sitting for a few days, its best to unplug the seat.
Other than that very small issue, the car is flaw-free!
