BLACK ON BLACK 1968 Firebird Hardtop.
California car until a few years ago. Have original black and yellow 1968 California plates. One repaint to black (paint was NOT a very good job, and is old...but ALL ONE COLOR) Car is a 50/50 (looks great from 50 feet or 50 mph).
Body is pretty rust free overall. 1967-1969 Camaro and Firebirds all rust in about the same places. Floors are solid, passenger rear floor pan was repaired with fiberglass, but I have a replacement panel. Carpet, headliner, door panels and seats were replaced over time. Interior looks good! All glass is good, tires are 90% with Ralley II wheels.
Overall a GREAT 1968 Firebird, just needs a V-8!!!
I have a Pontiac Historical Society packet (copy of build sheet, specs and information).
Another cool thing about this car: Serial number is 3000 even!!!! Early car with the trim on the grilles, obviously within the first 5000 made in 1968.
Clear title in my name. Currently registered with 1968 Washington License Plates (don't go with the car).
