1996 Freightliner FL 80 Rare 8.3L Cummins/Allison Auto 34K Custom Hauler RV

Up for sale is our 1996 Freightliner FL 80. This rig started out life as an emergency service unit for a fire department. It has since been converted to a custom hauler recreational rig. We did not do the conversion. We have had this rig for around a year and due to non use are selling it. While the paint is not perfect it looks very good and is a very clean non smoking rig. AC works great, the leather interior is in very nice shape, both the front seats are spring suspension seats making for a very comfortable ride. In addition this also has rear air suspension. We added a rear differential lock, that is activated by a toggle on the dash. This has a very desirable allison push button transmission and a bullet proof mechanical 8.3 Cummins diesel engine. Very low mileage. No CDL needed for this rig and has full air brakes. Extremely easy to drive and very safe and easy to tow large trailers.
