1998 Corvette Pace Car, IMS #1 Track Car, Strobe Lights, 2,500 Miles

This 1998 Corvette Pace Car is highly collectible. There are several replica pace cars out there, but this is the #1 IMS track car which participated at the Indianapolis 500 Race.

The car was assigned to the Indianapolis 500 Chairperson, Mari Hulman George. It also paraded the Indy 500 Festival Queen. The Corvette Pace Car Registry verifies the car's VIN number as being the #1 IMS Track Car. Furthermore, the car isdocumented with the original MSO, IMS Civic Plate Authorization Form, original window sticker and a letter from GM.

The 1998 Corvette Pace Car was acquired from famed car collector Richard Berry. Berry's legendary grandfather, Loren M. Berry, built up the telephone directory industry to the extent that the familybusiness, L.M. Berry & Company, was sold for $1 billion in 1986. His enviable car collection boasts a garage withsuper cars, Formula One racers, pace cars and vintage vehicles.

This car has only been driven 2500 miles and is in excellent condition with no mechanical issues. It is completely stock except for window tint and a clear protective film on the front bumper.
