All good things must come to an end, they say - and such is the case for the 1991 BMW E30 convertible I have. It is a clean titled, 325i that originally came from Florida and is in hence reasonably good condition. It does have a little bit of spot rust under the rockers but for a car that is 25 years old, it is in relatively good condition.
Attached some pictures here to best show and describe the car as much as possible. It is currently not running as I have let it sit for the past 2 years without doing much driving of it. It did drive then, but needs more than just a fresh tank of gas and a new battery most likely, I just don't have the time to bring it back to driving and enjoyable condition. The top is not currently raising/lowering on its own (via the motor) but it does come up and down, manually. The radio is also not in working condition at the moment.
In the list of projects and things I wanted to get done and enjoy, this one has regretfully been pushed to the bottom. All in all, those who know the almost "iconic" level status these E30's are reaching (particularly ones without the large metal "diving board" bumpers), can appreciate the car and body style. I was always fond of finding a white on black version and spent a good time finding this one. That being said, it will definitely need new battery, and some tune up work done to the motor to get it back to the running condition I had it originally in. This car makes such a nice spring/summer/fall cruiser. Winters you could too, but I just hate seeing cool cars out braving the winters of Wisconsin.
