1962 FORD GALAXIE--427 DUAL QUAD--SIDE-OILER

Thanks for viewing my auction for the 1962 Ford Galaxie 427. This is a good-really solid western car that has had extensive upgrades over the years. Car is a real blast from the past and always draws a crowd at car shows and cruise ins. Only reason for selling is because of my age and health reasons. This 1962 Galaxie features a 1966 dual-quad 427 side oiler motor-5 speed tremec trans-389 Detroit Locker Rear End-McClead Clutch-Light weight fly wheel- heavy duty drive shaft-super stock springs-front and rear sway bars-front disc brakes and heavy duty rear brakes. Car is very reliable-drives great-steers straight as an arrow---70mph on the interstate with two fingers on the steering wheel, in 5th gear at only 2150 RPM. Always starts and runs cool---180-185 degrees on a 95 degree day. The interior looks as new and is very comfortable. Car was just serviced ( Amsoil muscle car oil 10 W-40)10 quarts. Undercarriage is rock solid and I keep all my classic cars underside treated with a mixture of WD-40 and silicone to prevent rust. Paint has some touched up scratches, but is still very presentable. I think anyone who remembers the sound and power of the Ford 427 dual quad solid lifter side oiler will love this car. Ready to drive anywhere and enjoy. I have two folders of professional work and receipt for this Ford. Everything works on this car, lights--turn signals--gas gage--emergency brake, etc.
