This is a VERY rare, one year only fastback Torpedo. The car was mostly restored a few years back, and then stored until I purchased a few months ago. The motor has less than 1,000 miles on a full rebuild. It's been upgraded to 12 volt, with an electric fuel pump, and very nice set of gauges. It starts right up, idles nice, hasgreat oil pressure, runs strong, and DOES NOT SMOKE. Will leave a few typical drips from the rear main seal, but that's it. Engine and engine bay are very clean, just needs detailing. The clutch is smooth, shifts through the gears nice, and drives nice and straight down the road. The front end was also gone through, with a few items replaced.Brakes, exhaust, tires, and gas tank were also replaced. Basically, it was mechanically restored to be a reliable daily driver. My favorite part of this car is the body. Though not perfect, it is EXTREMELY straight and solid, as the pictures show. Only a couple chips. One in front, and one in back. Some bubbling on the bottom of the doors. The frame is GREAT. The front floors and trunk were patchedat some point. They were done nicely and are ROCK SOLID. I never would've bought the car unless it was solid, so no worries about weak spots of any sort. The trim and glass is all EXCELLENT. The interior has seats out of a Grand Am, and are in perfect shape. Very comfortable. Has an older aftermarket stereo that works. It also has a really nice custom center console. Lights, turn signals, brake lights all work. All in all, this is a GREAT car for someone to finish restoring while enjoying. Add the color of your choice for paint, finish the interior, and this will be a stunning looking driver. Could be turned into a super cool street rod, or simply drive as is. I'm also including a very nicealuminum grill that I propped up in a picture to show how itwould look.A grill this nicealone is worth close to $500, and that's if you can find one. No disappointments. My feedback speaks for itself, so bid with confidence. Any questions, feel free to call anytime (585)261-6547. Happy to send more pics upon request. My name is Jim. I will assist as best I can with shipping. VERY reasonable reserve. On Oct-06-16 at 19:54:05 PDT, seller added the following information:
