2002 Nissan Frontier 4x4 Supercharged Crew Cab Long Bed, 3k Miles, Movie Car

Up for sale is my personal 2002 Nissan Frontier 4x4 SC V6 Crew Cab with the extra long bed option. What makes this truck unique is the unbelievable low miles it has. That is right, it currently sits at around 3,000 miles. Yes three-thousand miles. The reason this truck sits with such little mileage is because it spent it's life being used in a tons of movies, television shows and also commercials. This truck started out as a promotional vehicle for Nissan and Rockford Fosgate in the EA Sports Supercross Series in 2002.

It was then repainted and used as a prop vehicle in productions as a lifeguard truck. According to the certificate of authenticity from the movie studio this truck was used for Baywatch, Cristela (ABC Comedy Series), Privileged, Natale a Beverly Hills (Christmas in Beverly Hills), Baywatch, Miami Trauma, Skechers Commercial, MTV/Comedy Central Roast Party, Cougar Town Season 3, Chriminal Minds, Firestone Commercial, Cyberobics, Colony Season 1.

The truck came fully loaded in 2002 with leather seats, sunroof, keyless entry/alarm, 4x4, etc. There are very few crew cab long bed Frontier out there, let alone a supercharged one.

I've updated the entire audio system as well. As an audiophile and a car enthusiast I wanted to bring this truck into the 21st century. I added a Pioneer AVIC-8200NEX In-Dash Navigation unit which is the flagship unit on the market. This was no cheap addition at $1,400! This unit is also paired with the optional iPod kit, XM kit and also paired with the latest ND-BC8 backup camera that is custom installed in the truck.

I couldn't stop there with the headunit. The entire truck has been covered in multiple layers of sound deadening material on all the doors, roof, floors, etc. The two Rockford Fosgate component speakers fill the front section of the cab with music while the rears are filled with two JL Audio speakers. The bass comes from a custom subwoofer box made by SuperCrewSounds made for this specific truck and are home to two 8" shallow mount Rockford Fosgate subwoofers. All the audio is driven off an Alpine PDX-V9 amplifier. All of the audio wiring are high end Rockford Fosgate equipment.

On the outside of the truck you may notice subtle changes. These include new headlights with blackout housings, LED taillights and 3rd brake light that add a modern touch to the truck. The high and low beam are powered with a Morimoto HID kit, the foglights are also powered by a Morimoto HID kit, all wired with an upgraded wiring harness. All the standard bulbs have been upgraded to VLED, LED bulbs throughout the truck. The horns have also been upgraded from a single horn to dual PIAA sport horns.

The truck sits on a set of 18x9" Axis Xenex wheels with new Falken Wildpeak A/T tires in 265/65/18. I upgraded the all season tires it came with to A/T tires so the truck is capable of some off-road adventures.

This car is nicely loaded with many desirable features. It includes all the original key and remote and all of the original manuals/handbooks..

Upon buying the truck, I immediately had a full service carried out on it. The fuel tank was emptied, the fuel pump, fuel sender, fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator were all replaced with new components. Although the motor had very low mileage, I performed the Seafoam treatment on it, the oil has been changed twice since my ownership with full synthetic oil and a OE filter. The air filter, belts, spark plugs (NGK Platinum, OE spec) has all been replaced as well. When the fuel pressure regulator was changed, all rubber hoses and gaskets that looked worn were also replaced. The transmission, oil, brake, coolant and differential all have new fluids as well.

Anything mechanical due to age and sitting has been taken care of. The car rides on four new shocks, new axels on the front as well..

I would personally suggest getting the truck repainted. The paint job done by the production studio was not performed very well and there is clear coat peeling. Originally the truck was metallic silver when new. During the EA Supercross Series it was repainted and airbrushed with custom graphics (I have photos in this stage as well). Now it's yellow. Some may want to keep the paint job for the novelty movie value.

I also have the lifeguard rack from the vehicle when it was used as a lifeguard truck. It has been removed but can easily be installed back onto the truck.

Professional pre-purchase inspections (PPI) are welcome but must be made before the auction ends. I have described the above mentioned vehicle to the best of my ability. However, with all pre-owned automobiles, the condition is subjective, so I recommend that the potential buyer fly out to inspect as well as test drive any of the vehicles before finalizing purchase. If your personal inspection is not possible, we will be glad to help facilitate an inspection by your chosen local independent service center and will make arrangements to deliver the vehicle to them for this purpose at the cost of the buyer.
