VW Syncro Turbo Diesel 1.6L, 4X4 with rear diff lock,very clean, imported Europe

Here is something that you don't see every day.
This vehicle was imported from Europe and I have all the US Customs, DOT and EPA papers. It's ready to register in USA. California is not a very friendly state to import cars with diesel engines, I was told that I will need to install DPF filter (Catalyst for Diesel) in order to comply with California emissions and it could cost several thousand dollars. Other states should be no problem but I encourage you to check with your state emissions requirements prior to bidding. All California buyers will have to go through the emissions process so don't bid if not ready to spend a few thousand dollars for modifications in order to pass California emissions test.
The vehicle appears to be all original and very clean for it's age. It runs very strong and looks very clean. Odometer shows 45000 kilometers and it appears to be original. Interior shows very minor wear and body/paint is in very good condition.

Please keep in mind that I only have US paperwork after clearing Customs, DOT and EPA, it's not a title. You will need to take this paperwork to your local DMV and complete the process. I went to California DMV and was told that everything is ready to register but must pass emissions test.
