I bought this 2003 Chevy 1500 HD crew cab 4x4 from a new car dealership I do business with regularly. I drove it home and was very impressed by how nice it rode and drove and I felt it was a nice enough truck to warrant a national audience. This truck really has some power. It is a 6.0 lt v8 and it has plenty of pulling power. It handled our northeast iowa bluffs and hills very well and it cruised down the road very smooth. The trans shifted all gears like it should smoothly and it handled well. The 4x4 worked great and all of the power options like cruise windows locks etc are working great. the radio is after market and plays good. This is a truck that if you win, you can fly here and drive it back home feeling great about it or having it shipped to your door and really feel like you got a good running truck. I did not see any leaks under it etc. It was recently serviced with a oil change etc and it has a really nice taken care of feel in my opinion. I noticed a abs light/service brake sensor come and go once in a while, not on for the video but it came and went when I drove it. Cosmetically the truck is very clean overall for the age. I pictured and videod any spot/blemish I did see (minor bubbling along driver rocker, rear bubbling on rear fender, etc) so make sure to study them well. The truck has dual exahust and it has a nice tough sound! the bed has a tonough that is in good shape, the inside of the bed looks great and has a place/reese hitch for a goosneck ball. the underside of the truck looks good as videoed with only normal road wear. The interior looks very nice as pictured and videoed. someone has taken care of it, I was really impressed by it. The miles are 169843 which means it was driven on average of 13k miles a year. As the truck is over ten years old, it is sold miles exempt. The tires look good and servicable but not new, the wheels look great in my opinion. If you are looking for a nice clean great driving truck without tying up 10k plus finding one, this will be perfect for you. I do not want to overcall it or undercall it, let the video and pics tell the story.
