Chevrolet G series built during WW II. This truck is low mileage as it was used by a county maintenance shop after the war until purchased by private owners. It has the original OHV 6 cylinder with the 4 speed transmission and two speed rear axle. The truck was running when parked. The “up” side to the truck is it is in good to excellent shape with no major body rust. includes most of the unique features such as the black out marker and driving light system. and the body parts are solid and the drive train is intact to include the PTO outputs. The “downs” include missing the two outer rear dual wheels. right side engine cowl panel. seat. and the correct bed for the truck. The bed shown in the pictures comes with the truck. but is for a longer wheelbase truck. It does have all metal canvas top bow pieces but the wood must be replaced. There is some asphalt on the axles and frame as this truck was part of a county road repair crew.
