We listed this previously as a straight auction. bidding didn't quite meet the reserve. Here it is as a buy it now. no guessing as to the price. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a one-owner Austin-Healey 100-6 with an incredibly low mileage of less than 40. 00 miles. This vehicle was purchased new for the then-young graduate of a local university. who placed an order for a red 2-seater 100-6. After a wait time in excess of 6 months. it became clear that a red 2-seater was not available. so he accepted a new white 4-seater version. The car was driven by the owner until 1962. when it was parked and stored inside. Approximately 45 years later the owner commissioned a complete restoration on the car. but with a twist. When the car was restored by a very professional local restoration shop. the car was converted back to the owner's original desired specification--a red 2-seater roadster. The shop that did the vehicle specializes in quality restorations of mainly British vehicles. and has turned out many national show winners in the past.
