1971 VW CLASSIC POP TOP CAMPER

Selling this Classic 71 VW Pop Top Camper Van for a friend. Found out I was selling on eBay and asked me if I would list it. Asking price of 12k or best offer. Negotiable. so throw me your best offer. Needs to be used and driven. it has sat long enough. It is in good condition for its age. Runs and sounds great. Ready for a road trip. Odometer has been turned over. Air Cooled. 4 speed OTF. Duel Port Motor. Front Disc Brakes (1st year available). Newer tires (35k on them). Current owner has had work done underneath. including the brakes and bushings also $950 in engine work including compression testing the engine. in the last year. Exterior in good shape (see pics). nbsp;some paint touch up has been done. Body is pretty straight. but has a few wrinkles around the rear. Some rust along right rear quarter panel and around rear tail light. Front driver and passenger floorboards have been redone also. Small tears in screening of pop top. repairable. Good rubber around all the windows. Clean interior. Has water faucet w/ pump. ice box. electrical outlet (unsure if working). fold out couch/bed. Table(not original). closet. Wood panels and trim inside looks good. Floor covering replaced. Seats in great shape. nbsp;as well as dash. Missing one red knob on heating controls. Ceiling over driver/passenger area in good condition (original). Lights all work. Original mattress up above in pop top. Pop top all intact except for small tears in screening where it touches metal hinges when not popped. Put tape over it to help protect it. Pop top zippers are tight due to non-use. one zipper is separating from vinyl. Vinyl /Plastic in overall good shape. no tears. just needs cleaning. Camper top closes and latches down with hooks.
