1972 International Harvester 1110 345 V8 4x4 Short Bed Pickup

1972 International Harvester 1110 Pickup 4x4This is a wonderful truck to own. It runs. drives. stops and rides better than any truck I have. It was a Northern California Truck and has been on the west coast all of it's life. It is pretty much all there and original. Its a very complete truck. This truck I believe has 3. 45 gears with Trac Lock. She is geared low in first for pulling. You can even start in 2nd if you want. MechanicalsStarts right up with a heat choke. It's the 345 and has great power. It features the original carb that runs great. All of the smog has been removed. Brakes lines have been flushed with fresh fluid. All the shoes are in good shape and it stops very well. It has factory power steering and drives straight and true. I has a new Durmast Gel Cell Battery. The 4WD works fine along with the locking hubs. ElectricalAll the lights work and the horn. All the gauges work except the water temp but one or two may need a bulb. The water temp may just need a sending unit. AM Radio works good. The fuel senders work in both tanks but don't go to full all the way. The fuel switch works great. I am currently using the passenger tank the most since it is the most convenient. Heater works. InteriorThe bench seat is newly covered in tweed and vinyl. has all the seat belts. original floor mat is in decent condition. Dash is cracked. Door panels are there but a little worn as you can see. Door locks work. I would replace some of the door weather strip. It is old and does not seal well. GlassAll the glass is in good shape with no cracks. Wing window work great. Windows roll up and down. It has new windshield wiper blades. ExteriorThere are dents and dings here and there but this truck is very solid. The rust I have found is one spot in the bed lower passenger rear cab as seen in the photos. There may be some surface rust under the OEM mat. but I did not pull it out to check. Under the truck she is very solid. A little body work and paint the original color is the next step. I put a very nice rust free tailgate on it. The original must have been taken off at some point and not put back on. I have a tool box that came with it as well. . I can put it in the bed you want it. The tires are in decent condition and the wheels look fairly new. They are 16" rims with 235-85-16 - 3 match and one is different. The grab handles on the cab are OEM and listed on the line setting ticket. This truck is ready to be driven and used for work or you can restore it to its former glory.
