I purchased this 1972 GT6 ten years ago. right before my first child was born and all of my spare time evaporated in a cloud of talcum powder and resignation. I did a pile of things to it after receiving it (rebuild master brake cylinder. replaced brake lines. rebuilt the gear shifter. welded a couple panels into the floorpan. yadda) but it's pretty much just sat since the late 00s and it's time it goes to someone who is actually going to use it somehow. The body is a 1972 GT6. but it has an earlier engine (pre-ringed-gaskets). The body is in reasonably good shape. but someone removed a vinyl top at one point. so it needs a good sanding and repaint. The hood/bonnet comes from a different GT6 and has aftermarket vents in it and has a recent-ish coat of paint. but could use a bit of brazing in the wheel well rims to level things out (it's not really noticeable unless you're looking). There are holes in the floorpan of the tub where the driver/pass feet go. I have one panel welded in and another in place but not welded. The interior has been pretty much entirely stripped and the seats are shot. I have a legal title (Iowa). I have a complete. but dismantled. TR6 engine that comes with it. I have brand new upholstery for the seats (some $600 worth). not installedTwo windscreens. two rear gate screensMASSES of spares-- Couple sets of engine/carb/etc gaskets- New window rubber for the front screen- A stack of SU/HS carbs (maybe 10 of them?)- Almost two full interiors worth of panels (all could use recovering though)- Spare door handles (inside/out)- Spare clutch master cylinder- Spare brake master cylinder (or two?)- Spare front uprights w/springs- Rear hubs and half-shafts- Diff- Gearbox- Spare rad- Triumph repair Haynes manual- HEAPS of junk - no. reallyThe master cylinder has been rebuilt. master clutch cylinder also. new slave cylinder. new lines on the clutch. most of the brake lines have been entirely replaces. rebushed gearstick. new brake pads. new head gasket. rebuilt carbs. new frost plugs. The tyres have ~2000 miles on them. but are old and a little weather checked. I haven't run the engine in. a good few years. I think it has an intake leak. The gas tank was removed by a previous owner. I have a replacement tank but it's not installed. Yes. there's a reserve. It's stupidly low. I wouldn't worry about it. there's no way I'm going to get back what I put into it and I'm ok with that. I just wanted to make sure I got at least a couple hundred out of it.
