1987 Suzuki Samurai SoftTop

This is a 1987 Suzuki Samurai in excellent condition. Completely rust free frame and body. I am the second owner of this vehicle and purchased it in 2009 with only 2. 00 miles on the odometer. The first owner purchased the vehicle because she liked the way it looked but never was able to drive a manual transmission vehicle. nbsp;so she put it up in storage hoping one day she will learn to drive manual but that never happened. I have owned about including this samurai a total of nine (9) samurai's and by far this is the best one I have owned or have seen on eBay or anywhere else for that matter. I have babied this samurai since I purchased it in Bonham Texas. used it as a daily driver and loved it. Drives great. runs smooth just a great little vehicle that is fun to drive and great on gas. Being that this Samurai sat for about 22 years. the transmission had a grinding noise coming from the input shaft. Finding out that the bearing was going bad since it was getting any lubrication from siting so long. so put in a complete rebuild transmission from Low Range Off Road in Utah. the experts on Suzuki Samurai's. Also just did a complete Tune-up. plugs. wires. cap. rotor. and cap gasket. adjusted valves and new valve cover gasket and valve cover bolt sealing grommets. New alternator belt as well. Oh also this samurai even though it;s a JA model does come with A/C. I used it when I first purchased it. but wanted to convert to the new R134A from R12 but never did. although it is not to hard to do. Most auto shops can do the conversion pretty reasonable. Also I installed a electronic rust inhibitor to help fight off any rust issues. You can find all the information at counteractrust. com. . the system on the samurai is the 2 body connection style. I have done some modifications myself because I know of the problems with to stock carburetor and issues they have down the road. I up-graded to a ZOR Zuks off road. My-Side 2 CV Carb Kit W/intake. Runs awesome and starts right up each and every time. I did the modification so if you care to bring it back to completely stock you could so easily. Also I have added a front and rear aftermarket bumpers. and also the side rocker protection bars as well. All which are bolt on and can be taken off is so desired. I also have the original front and rear bumper if wanted to put those back on as well. Auto Meter pro comp tach. Custom breather for the valve cover. using the My-Side eliminates the PVC Valve and the oil makes a mess on the valve cover so made a custom breather to eliminate the oil mess. New General AT2's in OEM Size and new spare tire. New window channel felts. the original ones were very dry and cracking.
