1940 PACKARD Vintage Autohaus & Imports is proud to present this nice example of what they called the junior Packard’s to help with sales through the great depression. The 110 combined a dash of classical elegance with the practicality and economy of a smaller package. The power came from a 245 cu. in. L-Head inline 6 cylinder engine with a 3 speed manual synchromesh column shift transmission. They used an X member frame on the car with independent suspension on the front and Semi - elliptic springs at the rear and 4 wheel hydraulic brakes. A styling trademark was Packard’s tall vertical grill that projects a bold sense of luxury along with the bullet shaped headlights that made a statement as well. Sealed - beam headlamps were standard for the first time in 1940. Model designation – 110 appears on the hood sides vented panel and rear windows unlatch and swivel open so rear seat passenger can enjoy a little breeze. The black paint on the car shows great for its age as well as the gray fabric interior. The back seat as plenty of room in it. All of the chrome trim and bumpers are in good condition as well as the interior dash and trim. The engine runs good and it goes through all the gears smoothly. The underside of the car shows solid with no signs any repair and the underside of all the fenders look in good condition. Car comes with some receipts of past work done to it and some promotional information about the car as well. We invite private inspections and do look at all trades.
