1973 Triumph Stag Base 3.0L

I'm selling my Stag. that I have owned since 2000. I no longer have a Garage. !!It is fundamentally in it's original condition and has not been the subject of a major restoration. There is very little corrosion. spending most of it's time here in the desert. A few up-grades have been done. these include the ''ULTRA-COIL'' breaker less ignition [faultless] and an ELECTRIC FAN plus a capillary thermostat. It has NEVER overheated. but the original viscous fan coupling seized. so I went the electric route. useful in traffic. but in the open road it rarely comes on. I have restored the wooden dash and added an oil pressure gauge [in sub. of clock] there is a nice cd radio [removable dash]. nearly new tires all around. with good [std] alloys. There are a number of spares included. that I bought many years ago. but have never needed [new fuel pump. coil new but redundant with the improved ignition. new ignition switch. nbsp;carb. rubbers & needles. original mirrors. belts. hoses. etc. etc. ]. There is also an intake [bellows] gasket. that I forgot to install when taking the pics. It comes with a hard & soft top. the hard top is good [it would be better with a new headlining] which has been resprayed. the soft top has not been up in years. but is not bad. The original paintwork is pretty good. not concours. great for everyday use. it buffs up very nicely [see pic of hood blemish]. There is a 1'' tear [taped] on the passengers headrest. There are newer mirrors installed [originals available]. I have new trunk & hood rubbers. plus new front & rear window rubbers. The front is not yet needed [spare] & the rear is yet to be fitted after the respray [window temp. installed in pics]. The rear brakes could do with an overhaul. In the pics. you will see that the side lights are ''open''. this was when I was checking all of the bulbs. they are now back on. When you think that this STAG is over 40 years old. it is remarkably free of corrosion. I have many more pics. if you need something specific. please ask as the maximum number permitted on Ebay are as displayed here. On a recent [about 600 miles round trip] it performed well. nbsp;driving at 60-70mph it averaged 25/6mpg. oil pressure was 50 lbs/inch [hot] and water temp. was 'normal'. sounded beautiful with it's original V8 engine. as they do. !!
