1966 Barracuda Showcar, 408 6pack automatic.

WOW! you wont believe this one. 1966 Barracuda showcar, ut streetable. There isn't one nut or bolt that hasen't been touched on this one. Has wonnumerous 1st place, econd place and top 25 awards. Just completed all the things I wanted to do to this car and its a Monster. Never raced but let it loose on the street a few times. Its a Rocket. I have had this car sense 2003 and its just completed. Time to move on to a new project. I'll miss it i'm sure. Building me a 1956 Dodge street cruiser with a 5.7 Hemi.

This car when I started hadabsolutely no rust in the body. I guarantee it is all original sheet metal with no repairs of any kind in this car. It only had a couple of door dings in the sides that took less than a thimble full of filler to fix.

Here is what has been done:

Drive Train: Engine: Bluprint Engines 408 stroker short block, belbrock Performer heads, arland Sharp roller tip rocker arms, opar 3 duce manifold, olly 340 6 pack carberators, opar purple cam shaft,double row timing chain, ougs long tube ceramic coated headers and Pertronix electronic distributor. Has high torque mini starter. Transmission: original rebuilt and beefed up 904 tourque flight with 2500 stall converter.Rear End:Mopar 8 3/4 with Eaton Nitro Powerlock differential with 355 gears.

Suspension: Air shocks on rear. Complete front end rebuild completed just months ago. All suspension and undercarriage of car sand blasted and painted. Hellwig front and rear antisway bars. Willwood drilled disc brakes on front, rum rear. Cragar 15" X 7" wheel with BF Goodrich TA radials.

Body: Completely original except hood. Hood modified with 70's style SHAKER scoop. All original trim. Rechromed original bumpers. Plymouth letters are aftermarket replacements. Most of the door weather stripping on this car is original.

Interior: Dash instrument bezels have been rechromed and detailed. All new Legendary Interiors interior, eadliner to carpet. Arm rests have been rechromed.
