1964 Plymouth Hemi Pro Street...... Best of Show

This car has spenta pampered life as aShow car....I purchased this Hemi car in 2009 with the intention to compete in NHRADrag RacingSS/BA ....It has a Tig Welded4130 Chrome Moly roll cageand all the safety features required by the NHRA.However, fter doing a rotisserie restoration,I had a change of heart and settled on a show/street car with the look of a serious race car. The car is just too pretty to subject it to the rigors of drag racing.

I rebuilt the 426 Hemi (.60 over ) and lowered the compression to facilitate an 871 Moonenyham Blower to run on pump gas. Transmission is a Hemi Torqueflite . Rear is Dana 4:10 with Strange Axles.

The body is 100% steel except the bumpers, hich are fiberglass. Paint is House of Colors,applied to perfection by an expert body shop. It's difficult to appreciate how deep and lustrous the paint looks in person, specially in the bright sunlight....Heavy metalflake and detailed graphics, ake this car stand out!!!

The interior and trunk are highly detailed and professionally done.

The underneath of this car is as pretty as the top!!!

After completing the car in late 2010, took it to The Don Garlits Museum Mopar event in Ocala Floridafor its maiden showing...It won BEST OF SHOW over 300 other Mopars !!!!

Needless to say, his car has all the best parts available, ven the ones you can't see.

Sincethe build, t has been kept in my climate controlled warehouse and trailered to most shows. I do drive it to local shows, ecause I love to see the expression of people when they hear the "whine" of the blower and rumpity-rump of the aggressive cam!!!!
