1964 Plymouth Sport Fury

1964 Plymouth Sport Fury. 383 4 barrel with rare options including factory air conditioning. factory power windows. and factory AM Reverb with rear speaker. The factory air blows. but it is not cold. The rear passenger side power window does not work. the other three work. The front power windows slightly catch when the doors are opened. need to be adjusted since they go up a bit too high. The Sport Fury package includes bucket seats. console. floor shifter and specific side molding. Since the car lived most its life in California. it is an extremely solid car. The car was built at the Fremont. California plant. From what I can tell. the car has been repainted one time. and I believe most of the moldings were not removed for paint job. The color is not a perfect match to DD1 original color as listed on the fender tag. The fender tag also indicates that the original interior color is blue. but the interior is weathered. and the driver seat has significant wear. The rocker panel moldings are missing. There is a small dent on the rear of the driver's quarter panel. There are some chips in the paint as well. The front hood is not perfectly aligned. There is a slight golf ball size rust just starting on the bottom of driver's quarter. which would need repair if a complete restoration is scheduled. The undercarriage is nice. rust free. and unmolested. The 383 4 barrel runs good. I've installed a new Spectra gas tank and new sending unit. I also installed a new fuel line. new fuel pump. a rebuilt carburetor. and a new OEM style battery. The Plymouth had been sitting for 8 years prior to my buying it. It spent most of its life in California. Odometer says about 33. 00 miles. but I do not know what the actual mileage is. The car is in very good driver condition. pretty close to original condition.
