1968 Plymouth Roadrunner Coupe

This is a true roadrunner. RM21H8G born and built in St. Louis. Mo. With a build date of October 6th. The car decodes as: 2 Door Pillar Coupe 383 4bbl HP V8 3 speed Automatic Trans F70x14 white sidewall steel belted radials October 06 3. 23 axle sure grip Deluxe Trim Grade Vinyl Split Bench seat Silver on Black Monotone Silver Metallic Paint Black Upper Door Frame bright blue metallic racing stripe and black horizontal Accent stripe. Wide Sill Mouldings Drip Rail Mouldings Body Belt Mouldings C4 unknown option AM radio Tinted Windshield Hood or fender mounted turn signals Ordered Car. Car has been painted Hemi Orange. Now has beautiful black bucket seat interior. Black door panels. Black carpet. Black headliner. Has a 1968 440 out of a GTX. The motor has been bored 30 over has 10. 0:1 compression was updated to the six pack camshaft. Has an Edelbrock single 4bbl intake with a Demon Carb. Has a 727 Automatic transmission. Now wears a set of 14" magnum 500 style wheels. I added a 4 pin lift off 6 pack style hood which has been airbrushed instead of having the vinyl decals. Added a stripe down the side that's just a little wider then a factory stripe would be. Has a beautiful rear decor panel. This car gets compliments everywhere it goes. Has been in several photoshoots. I replaced all of the wiring front to back with reproduction correct wiring for a hemi car. I pulled out the heater box and replaced everything inside it. Has a newer trunk rubber pad. It has a newer Sony stereo in a repop dash panel with dual 4" front speakers in the stock location. Good glass all the windows and doors work like they are supposed to. I just put a new set of headers on the motor and added new 2 1/2 " dual exhaust. The only thing I would say this car will need is new vent cables. which are easily available. I just haven't ordered them yet and could add decor tips on the exhaust system. The only reason Im selling this one is i just purchased a true Hemi car and I don't need both of these at once. Ill try to add some current pics of the interior tomorrow. The car is available to anyone that wants to view before bidding. I just put all new front ball joints. the rod ends shocks everything up front is brand new even the steering coupler. I painted all of these parts while they were off the car also.
