Up for auction is this beautiful survivor 1972 Roadrunner
- Unrestored original Survivor car.
- 340 cu. in V8 / Torqueflite 3 spd. Automatic
- 27,714 original miles.
This car has never been restored or been in any accidents. In fact, when a minor ding on the door needed to be repaired it was featured in a Mopar Muscle Magazine article on paintless dent removal specifically on how to get the dings out of an unrestored original to save the paint. The car is in excellent mechanical condition and is drives great having only 27,714 original miles. The original black paint and condition is very good. Panel fit is good and there is no major damage or deterioration evident anywhere on the car. All glass, moldings, weather-strips are in very good condition. The original black vinyl seats, black headliner, and carpets are original and in very good condition. This was a very popular car with a lot of collector interest. This car is clean, mechanically sound and desirable. This was the last year of the Muscle Car Era with a build date of December 1971. 340 cu. in. V8 engine with Torqueflite 3spd. transmission. Limited slip differential, original springs, shocks, brakes and exhaust are in very good condition. Running Cragar wheels and radial tires. The only modification to the vehicle was the installed exhaust tips as the original car was built with the California exhaust system. The exhaust tips were added. This car is being sold from the personal collection of John Balow, owner of Muscle Car Restorations, Inc. John is the third owner of this collector's piece and it has been well looked after and maintained by a true automotive enthusiast and the expert staff at MCR.
