Description

For sale is my 1972 Plymouth Satellite (Road Runner clone). I decoded the VIN and originally it as a Satellite with a 318 2bbl. made in St. Louis. Mo. I bought this car 2 years ago and it was pretty much the same as it is now. It has been in garage storage since. The previous owner bought it from someone in New Mexico who did the Road Runner conversion. I believe the car has spent most of it’s life in New Mexico because it has very little rust on it. The body was completely straight when I bought it. It has one rust spot in the driver’s rear quarter panel in the left rear fender (see pic). It currently has a 400 cu. in. with a 4bbl. carb and an aftermarket intake manifold. It hass dual headers but no exhaust pipes beyond the headers. It has four good tires. P225/70Rx15 in front and P225/70Rx15 in rear. They are all mounted on factory. new steel wheels. It gas dog disg hubcaps and a few trim rings. ALL PARTS (or the majority of) Parts are included to complete this vehicle. This is an "air" car but the engine A/C equipment has been removed and is not included. It comes with what is shown in the trunk picture. The parts are there to reassemble this car to it’s original 1972 condition. The following is what I know needs fixed to be driven: The brakes need fluid and to be bled. It has a new master cylinder. Needs muffler and tail pipe(s) put on and finished running tailpipes out the rear of the car. The transmission looks good. but may need some work. All window glass and other interior and exterior. (including chrome) is there and will be shipped/can be picked up. The battery is weak and will need to be replaced. Overall this is in very nice condition for it’s age and gets lots of attention wherever I take it. You could fix a few small things and drive it like it is or restore it and drop in a Hemi or 440. If you have any questions feel free to contact me through email or at 505/463-1586. My name is George. Thanks! Car is sold AS/IS to the highest bidder above the reserve. You are welcome to arrange to come look at it in person before the auction is over. A down payment of $500. 00 must be made within 72 hours of auction close via cash or Paypal. The remainder must be paid in cash at time of pickup within 2 weeks of auction close. The car has a clear NM state title in my name and will be transferred to the buyer at time of pickup. Buyer must arrange for pickup or shipping.
