Here is my 1969 Plymouth GTX project. I bought this car from a family member to restore. It had rust behind both rear wheels and two small holes in the trunk floor. I replaced the trunk pans. trunk extensions. and both quarter panels. The battery box w2as rusted so I replaced it with a new one. It could really use a new inner fender behind the battery box to make it perfect. Only a couple small imperfections on the body need attention to be ready for paint. I have the numbers matching 440 just as I removed it from the car seven years ago. I stuck a battery in the car before I bought it to make sure it would turn over. The engine is still free. I'm sure it needs rebuilding. but it is complete and the original engine. I have the build sheet from under the seat. The vin tag on the dash. the data plate under the hood. the number on the radiator support. the number on the trunk rail. and the engine block all match. This GTX was originally red with black vinyl with black accent striping. black interior with bucket seats. It was originally automatic but sometime in it's life was changed to 4 speed. It has had a 4 speed tunnel hump installed very nicely and looks original. I have a newly rebuilt 833 4 speed with the car I do not have the clutch linkage z-bar as I robbed it for a Roadrunner project. New ones are readily available. Seats are actually serviceable with no rips or tears. nbsp;just need a serious cleanup. I do not have door panels. I have restored the dash with new paint and dash pad. I have a new. in the box. console with new wood grain and new shifter boot and retainer. Original console is included with original interior foot lights. This car was not power steering but comes with a nice extra k member with a power steering unit attached. Buyer also gets an extra set of front fenders. I have all the chrome in nice shape except the wheel well moldings. all original glass but windshield is cracked. I have two tail panels. one pretty good and the other not so good but restorable. Car has a perfect grill. 95% of the parts for the GTX are included with a lot of them marked with fasteners attached. I am only selling this car because I have restored a Roadrunner and have decided to try to find a Challenger project and not another b body car although I have already spent almost $6000. 00 on this car with documentation. I have a clear North Carolina title in my name. I will be glad to answer any and all questions or show the car to anyone interested at any time. In fact I encourage it. Car must be picked up here unless buyer wants to pay me to deliver within 500 miles. I will not ship. Payment of $500. 00 via PayPal is due at auction end with balance due in cash when vehicle is picked up. This is a $50. 00 car when restored as it should be. I am just going to let someone else be that guy. Bid with confidence. On Mar-30-15 at 03:51:55 PDT. seller added the following information:Barry-- 336 909 0370
