1981 Pontiac Trans Am Special Edition Y84 Firebird very solid car

1981 Special Edition Y84 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am This car is very solid with very little to no rust. Some surface rust. Floor pans look good. It does not appear to have any of the common rust problems around the doors and fenders and the trunk looks good. Had the vehicle up on a lift last spring and everything looked good. The car has been parked in my garage since I took ownership of it. Bought the vehicle from my neighbor last year. He had it for 2 years and kept it under tarp. Put in Chevy 350 last spring. The motor runs strong. nbsp;just needs to be finished. It does come with all the AC componets and radiator. Also. have mirrors. an extra set of T-tops. window trim. nd arm rests. Have other parts as well. Most of the parts to complete the car for a daily driver are there. Missing rear seat cushion. front bumper grill inserts. and front spoiler (spoiler is pictured on the car but will be removed). Fuel line was removed and the battery was moved to the trunk by the previous owner. The interior needs work. I would say that it is in fair condition. Doors are solid and glass is good. The front windshield does have the factory gold tint at the top. The T-tops do not leak. Tires need replaced. The car was painted 5 years ago. but not the best paint job. Not sure if the car was originally black or gold. The car does have some minor dings. As far as I can see. the body work will be very minimal. Unless there is something under the paint that I cannot see. Keep in mind. nbsp;I am not a body man or a mechanic. The car ran and drove good prior to replacing the motor that went bad. Odometer indicates 31. 12. Title shows 130092/NOT ACTUAL. For a restoration project. this would be an excellent canidate. This would make a stunning show car if you have the ability to complete it.
