Pontiac LJ Grand Prix 1976 Gets a lot of attention

The frame has been painted with POR 15. The interior has been re done. all the metal is solid. I had it painted in the original two tone. the upholstery place found an original 1976 Landau top. It has been to several local car shows and gets a lot of looks. It has power steering. power brakes. power window. power locks. power sunroof. power truck release. tachometer. quartz clock (upgrade). wiper delay. cruise control. AM FM 8 track stereo and another one to go with it along with more parts and some NOS parts. NOS parts were found and installed and include. wheel well opening moldings. turn signal lenses. headlight surrounds. tail lights. tail light trim. rocker panels. beauty rights and center caps. The Grand Prix emblems have been 24 karat gold plated. and the front emblem and rear truck lock cover are the 50 year anniversary emblems. Since 1976 was Pontiac’s golden anniversary. I customized this car just for me. The motor is a 400 Pontiac bored 30 thousandths over. The crank has been turned . 010; . 010. It has been completely rebuilt with Eagle Rods. It has all the pollution controls on it since it lives in California. (Smog laws – killing my horsepower. ) The intake is an Edelbrock custom polished aluminum. the brake booster was custom chromed. as was the timing chain cover. power steering unit. alternator. 17 inch air cleaner. a/c compressor. pulleys and brackets. It has Edelbrock valve covers. The water pump. oil pan. and harmonic balancer were not custom chromed but are chrome plated. (Sorry. I do not have all the receipts. since it was never my intention to sell it. After all who has ever heard of a Grand Prix with chrome plating under the hood? GTO. yes; Trans Am. yes; Grand Prix. no…heck no. ) It has less than 500 miles on the engine and less than 6. 00 on the rebuilt transmission. I am the second owner and have had the car over 31 years…it probably has 450. 00 miles on it. It was my daily driver for 25 years. Now everything has been rebuilt. (I have had the car longer than the wife and new business venture does not allow me to enjoy the car. ) Please ask all questions before bidding. The car is available for inspection and I welcome it.
