1957 Pontiac Pathfinder 2 dr. Wagon Vintage, Collectable, Hot Rod, Unicorn car

This 2 dr. Wagon is a very rare and desirable car that you won't see anywhere else on the road or even at car shows! Pontiac Pathfinders were manufactured in Canada on a Chevrolet chassis and were not made anymore after 1958. So while this car shares the Pontiac name with the US Safari model it is not the same vehicle. A 1957 Safari in good condition is considered rare but their production numbered 2934 that year and the Pathfinder 2 dr. wagon was less than 500. I have never seen another windowed one with the one piece liftgate either which adds to the rarity of this car. Go ahead and Google around and you will find out how rare this vehicle is!The car was mildly rodded a number of years ago. A 327 ci was installed. 3 spd auto w/cooler. headers/dual exhaust. air conditioning. tilt wheel and rebuilt interior to name a few of the mods which were all tastefully done without compromising the original flavor of the car. It drives fine and has good power. Not sure what the rear end ratio is but it favors the upper end and is not a tire burner off the line but cruises effortlessly. The original shoe brakes front and rear were redone but also includes a disc brake kit for the front that is not installed. The paint and chrome are all original but there is only some surface rust on the vehicle and no rot and never any actual body damage. Not a drop of bond on the car! There is a fully louvered hood that comes with the car that is in great shape also. While you will see Nomads and Safari's for sale you will never see another one of these so don't miss out on the opportunity to own this. It is a thumbs up car wherever you take it in the condition it is in and will baffle all but the most knowledgable car nut as to just what the heck it is! Clear Oregon title is in my possession.
