This larger engine was rated at 250 net horsepower at 4. 00 rpm. with 370 foot-pounds of torque at 2. 00 rpm. It also had an 8. 0:1 compression ratio. The only transmission available was a Turbo 400 automatic; manual transmission; manual transmissions had been dropped from the Grand Prix line in March 1971. Original four-barrel 455 cu in Big Block Motor with automatic transmission is in excellent running condition having recently been rebuilt. AC (non working. all parts there) and Power Brakes included with the "SJ" option that also added a rally gauge cluster and a radial tuned suspension with front and rear sway bars. It has the original AM Radio and 8-track player. The radio seems to work but not sure about the tape player. Unrestored. Original Paint. has a few rust spots around wheel wells. shown in pictures. There is some surface rust on underside of car but no rust thru. All chrome looks good. Original interior. (driver’s seat has stitching broken down left side of seat) other than that interior is in good condition! Dash has a few cracks and blemishes but carpet looks great.
