(917) but only one in this color combination with these exact options. This drop-dead gorgeous "Fire Bird" has a perfect clean CARFAX and CARCHECK history. No accidents. paint or body work or touch-up. It is the newest. nbsp; most perfect example I have ever seen!It was sold new with 10 miles on June 13th. 1996 to it's proud owner in Laconia. New Hampshire. The mileage was recorded at a New Hampshire inspection station as just 2000 miles on May 18th. 2012. In 14years it was only driven 2000 miles or around 150 miles a year. On May 21st. 2012 it had the recommended maintenance performed with the mileage recorded at 2654 miles and on October 18th. 2012 it was traded into a dealer with 2760 miles. It had a couple of owners who both lived in Alabama and they put this car into their collection and hardly ever drove the car. It ended up in 2014 at a Classic Auto Dealership on the West Coast of Florida and was offered for sale with just over 3200 miles. Lloyd. the gentleman whom we acquired this car from via virtue of a trade on a late model Corvette Convertible. purchased this car in August of 2014 with just over 3200 miles. He traded in his 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible with 2250 miles for this car and also received a check back from the delivering dealer for $900. translating into almost an even up trade. I mention this because it shows the incredible condition of this much sought after collectible T/A Convertible and it further demonstrates the value of this car. You can own this car for far. far less than the previous owner paid for this car just this past August in 2014. You will notice that the beautiful car cover we photographed on this car has a Chevy emblem on it. that's because this is the cover he bought for his 2013 Chevy Camaro Convertible. he kept it when he traded his Camaro almost "even trade" for this incredible Firebird TransAm and it fits perfect on this car. also included as shown in one of the photos is what we believe to be a Front Protective Bra for this car. it has velcro on the back of it. The Articulating Custom Leather Seats with adjustable lumbar and articulating headrest are incredibly comfortable. The rear performance 3:23 ratio axle are a perfect match for the 5. 7 Liter Fuel-injected V-8. Great performance and almost 30mpg on the highway at 65mph. The 300-horsepower barrier fell during this year. as the Ram Air name returned for a cold-air induction system on the Formula and Trans Am coupes with the WS6 package. This was not offered on the Convertibles. all with the 5. 7 liter V-8 were rated at 285hp. Ordering the WS6 engorged the LT1 with enough air (via two "nostrils" in the hood) to take output up to 305 horsepower. and Pontiac threw in 17-inch wheels to boot. Lloyd added at his expense a TOP-OF-THE- LINE VIPER 5704 Remote Start/Incredible Alarm System. It has a transmitter which warns the owner if anyone is trying to steal this car and at the same time activates the alarm system. Is has motion sensors. shaker sensors and when armed it emits inside the car a low voltage LED pulsing light. Don't worry. you can leave this system armed for several months without any noticeable drain on the battery. I love the fact that you can remote start the car on a hot day and have the AC cool the car before you enter the car and unlock the doors or. on a cold day. have the heater cranking before you do the same. The Pontiac factory alarm system was left in the car so there are two remotes for the Viper and two sets of Pontiac Factory keys with remotes. The Factory original radio (shown in photo) comes with the car but Lloyd had a PIONEER sound system installed which has AM/FM/FM Stereo/High Definition FM/CD Player and is made for iPod. iPhone and is also Bluetooth ready. The sound is incredible and is heard through the Pontiac's factory sound system. It also has it's own remote control. Of course included is the original Factory Owner's Manual and pouch which contains other new car documents. Finally. a nice hard cover bound Avery 3 punch book contains the MSRP window sticker. the CARFAX documentation which has the car's history and documents the mileage. 3 pages from TransAM World which has a complete breakdown of every Firebird made in 1996. both coupes and convertibles and 2 pages of VIN and RPO codes as obtained August. 2014 from a General Motors publication. NOTE:The Route 66 front plate does not come with this car. it is off another car and was used for the purpose of showing where your personalized plate could possibly be mounted. A very nice car cover comes with this car as does a cover which safely protects the hard 3 piece convertible boot. It is easy to put on and take off and is easily done by one person in a very short amount of time. 1-2 minutes at the most. This car has never been smoked in and to my knowledge has never spent a night outside. it has always been garaged. and if you don't have a garage. you should not consider buying this car.
