I am relisting this today (was unsold at $6800) with NO RESERVE at 90% of the price it was bid up to. I have noticed that cars without reserve get more quality bids since bidders can now be sure that someone is going to get this car instead of me holding on to some pie-in-the-sky idea of what I think it is worth. Good luck and enjoy the car!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
350 auto original engine (carb looks to be original, ut year stamp says 1968).
New plugs, ires, oil, oints/condenser (twice), hermostat, emp gauge, pm gauge. In 2012, NTIRE brake system was replaced with the exception of the brake pedal and parking brake system. That means new booster, aster cylinder, istribution block, ines, alipers and shoes. Floors were replaced in 2012. New carpet placed in 2012.
Convertible top leaks, convertible motor leaks fluid and does not work, nd a nut fell out of the frame a few months after owning it, o it droops on right side. Wipers not functioning and horn circuit does not work. I installed a new horn and relay, ut it is jury-rigged to a doorbell. Radio doesn't work. It will need a new exhaust eventually.
Runs, ut not super great. Needs a tune up again. New owner should probably ditch the points and condenser and put an electronic ignition in. But when I last drove it, was able to burn rubber. It's just that it wastes a lot of gas.
I have not driven it since 2013 since I got a 1983 Chevy Blazer K5 Blazer. It needs to go. Wife is tired of 2 toys in the house! But it is a head turner 56 years later.
Please no questions about what I will take for it! No trades... wife said too many toys! Winner will either pick up locally or arrange their own transportation.
