1962 Pontiac Bonneville 425A Tri-Power 4 Speed

1962 PONTIAC 4 SPEED

This car originally was an automatic and it appears that someone used the components from a factory 425A, speed car. Close inspection shows a rare 1962 shifter and pedal that was factory correct for a very short history.

The paint appears to be original with 53 years of patina. The sides are straight and all the body panels fit properly. The trunk, oors, nd hood shut smoothly. The stainless is in good condition. Front windshield has a crack.

The interior is original. The rear seats need a light dye but new covers are needed on the front seats. The convertible top material has been removed but the top bows are all there under the boot. The floors appear to be solid with no patches.

I was told this is a factory 425 A motor. Has no serial numbers on the block but does have solid lifter and correct tri-power. The engine starts and runs fine. The 4 speed shifts ok. Has posi-traction. The exhaust and tires are new. Needs a new rear bumper.

Withsome work, top, eat covers and rear bumper it would be a good summer driver.
