1988 Firebird Trans Am

Offered up from our collection for your consideration is this 1988 PONTIAC TRANS AM . My father and I are both retired avid car collectors. We take a lot of pride and time in taking detailed pictures of everything on the vehicle as well as an honest description of both the good and bad on the vehicle. Our goal is to sell a car and both parties are happy with what they are getting.

Describing this car is difficult to put into words. This vehicle is unbelievably perfect for a near 29 year old car. You will be hard pressed to EVER find another in this collector condition.

It is in absolute new immaculate condition down to the smallest detail. The vehicle is completely stock the factory muffler has not even been replaced.

I had this exact trim car brand new and have not seen another one this clean and in this great of shape in many many years. The paint is flawless and original with a deep reflective shine. There are absolutely no dents, ings or scratches whatsoever. The only two places that appear were repainted were the front bumper cover and rear spoiler.

The headlights operate perfectly with no grinding or issues the motors were just replaced last week. They are not misaligned and there is no damage do the hood which is typically an issue on these cars from improper alignment or wear.

The doors close absolutely perfect and tight with no sag or dragging. There are absolutely no leaks on any of the seals on the t tops or any glass or doors.

The vehicle drives down the road quiet and enjoyable with no issues or rattles. The steering is tight and responsive the brakes are firm and functioning.

The rims are in excellent condition with no scratches and brand new Goodyear Eagle tires in 245/50r16s on all four corners. The engine in this car runs perfectly with no smoke or mechanical issues. The engine is very clean inside and well maintained obsessively. Engine bay is in immaculate shape with no wiring splices or modifications.

The interior

The only way to describe it is perfect. The carpet shows no wear, iscoloration or tears it is in exceptional condition. The door panels are in flawless condition with the door pockets in excellent shape (see pictures) as well as the dash pockets with the Trans Am logos. The vehicle still has the stock radio in perfect operating condition.

The dash has no cracks, ubbling or scratches it has been very well kept in a garage and maintained. All of the gauges are clear and function perfectly. The gray cloth seats have absolutely no signs of wear or age on them. The center console arm rest has no wear and is not broken. The seat belts retract properly they are not worn out or discolored and lock firmly.

The electric rear hatch closes firmly and seals perfectly with the shocks in great condition. The rear T Top storage area is exceptionally clean and includes the original T Top storage bags.

I have included pictures showing the condition of the underside of this car. It was rinsed then photographed to show that it is completely stock and very well taken care of. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on this vehicle no fluids leaking.

The air conditioning in this car blows cold and strong.

The car runs cool and drives perfectly in Texas summer heat with plenty of power.

Bottom line this car shows absolutely perfect compared to its age and mileage showing on the dash. It is hard to believe that is in such exceptional shape as the pictures will show.
