I am selling my Jeep CJ 7 Renegade. This Jeep has been gone through from top to bottom. You will not find a nicer original Jeep and it is Fuel Injected, ith the Mopar system. This Jeep has a black paint job with full hard top and hard doors and optional bikini top. The hard doors were repainted on the exterior but have some wear and a few dents on the interior side. The hardtop is complete, ith a new seal set, lthough it could use new paint. All the upholstery and trim and carpet and floor mats are factory original. No Rust on body or frame because it has a new TDK (Throttle Down Kustom) frame. The frame was powder coated and installed by Davis Auto Body of Crestline. In the process of replacing the frame all of the body mounts were redone so there is absolutely no rust anywhere on this CJ. This Jeep is a definite head turner with its impressive classic and fun looks. But that is not all. The shocks were replaced, he brakes, rake lines and master cylinder are all new. The battery is new and the engine was completely rebuilt by a shop in San Bernardino. The transmission, ranfer caase and differentials were completely rebuilt by O & R Off Road in Bloomington. It has a T5 transmission. There are Bestop front seats, newer Bestop soft top and soft doors as well. The heater core has been replaced and all of the gauges work (other than the tach). With Mopar fuel injection system the tach is disabled. It has a T-5 transmission. The front differential is a Dana 30, he rear differential is a Dana or AMC 20, he gear ratio is 3.55 and the transfer case is a Dana 300. It has a nice stance on the 32" tires, hich are about two years old. The four tires are Hankook 32x11.50 15LT. The Dunlop spare is the same size as the four tires; however it is much older. The four tires have less than 400 miles on them. The steer column was completely rebuilt by O & R Off Road so this Jeep steers like it did when new. You can drive it on the freeway with confidence. Smittybilt nerf bars help you get in and out with ease. You will receive many compliments on the Jeep for its originality and impressive quality upgrades. A tough 4x4 and a nice driver. The Jeep has been garaged and always kept in dry condition. If you have been looking for a high quality original collector Jeep CJ-7 then look no further! I bought the CJ for $5k and have put more than $25k into it.
All the work was done by professionals. This is not a shade tree Jeep and it has been gone through from top to bottom. Most Jeep CJ's have been totally customized, ut up or just totally ragged and rusted out. That is why it has a new frame. The original frame had too much rust to even try to salvage it. That meant shipping in a new frame, aving it powder coated and transferring the body. In the process of transferring the body there was too much rust at the body mounts so they were all rebuilt. The two front fenders had rust so they were replaced. The rear tub had some rust to it was repaired. All of the body work was done by Davis Auto Body or Dart Canyon Coach Works in Crestline. Then the engine was completely rebuilt and a Mopar fuel injection system added. The engine runs strong as the Mopar fuel injection system added horse power. The differentials, ransfer case and transmission were rebuilt. The radiator was replaced. The clutch pressure plate, isc, ncluding all bearings, ushings and components were replaced. The Jeep has power steering and all components were gone through, ncluding rebuilding the steer column. I am not sure what the lift is but I think it is a 3 inch suspension lift with high-strength bolts. It has the factory original mirrors, ood catches, hrome grille and rear bumperettes. The brakes completely rebuilt or replaced. The gauges were gone through. The heater was replaced. There is no air conditioning.
There are three things I need to do. The temp gauge has stopped working so that will be repaired. The drivers side turn signal is not working properly so that will be repaired. The installed radio is not working so that will be repaired or it will be replaced.
The listed pictures are dated 2014 only because the camera had an incorrect date set on it. I will retake the pictures and update them so there is no confusion.
The Jeep is located in Crestline, alifornia. Crestline is a small town in the San Bernardino mountains at an elevation of about 4800'. I can assist with making the Jeep available for transportation but you will need to make all of the arrangements. I am not interested in shipping this Jeep internationally.
I will only accept cash in person or a wire transfer. My concern with Cashiers checks is because my bank tells me there is no way to confirm they are legit until after the funds have transferred. That might be an option if you are willing to wait for everything to clear before taking ownership of the vehicle.
You can buy a less expensive Jeep and do all the work I have had done yourself. I have receipts for all of the work which was done. As a consideration I ask that only serious buyers consider this Jeep. Once you buy it, he sale is simply AS-IS. This means that you cannot ask for your money back once you have committed yourself. If you know Jeeps then you know what they are worth and what they are selling for. Thanks for your interest.
