For sale a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am. It has a Pontiac 400 engine and a 3 speed automatic transmission. The car runs and drives great and has a good amount of power for a 1977. The interior of the car is in great condition. No rips in any of the seats. Headliner is great. the only flaws is a small crack in the dash. It also includes the very rare HURST dual gate shifter which I believe was a dealer installed option. I've seen these hurst shifters alone go for 6-700 dollars. Also the metal hurst T-Bar knob will not come with the sale of the car. It will come with a black knob like the hurst shifter originally came with. Brand new weatherstripping around the doors. No Cracks in the dash. Almost new tires. The body of the car is in good shape and was painted the original color and undercoated not too long ago according to the previous owner. No rust on the body. It did have the quarters replaced but the car has the original trunk and floors which are in good shape. The underside is truly in good condition for the year. There was a minor rust hole in the floor board that was patched at one time. There are a few little dings and scratches on the car but it really is an eye catcher and overall in great shape. Really the only problem with the body of the car is that it appears it had a sunroof at one time which can be barely visible in direct sunlight (refer to pictures). Also, was told that the car has timing gears instead of a timing chain. It is a much more durable setup than a timing chain but it does make a slight whining noise (almost sounds like a supercharger). A non refundable down payment of 200$ is mandatory no more than 24 hours after auction end. I encourage you to come take a look at the car before bidding. I have the right to end the auction at any time
