1974 Pontiac Trans AM project car Real Y code 455 car automatic SEE DETAILS

This auction is for a 1974 Pontiac Trans Am PROJECT CAR. This is a real deal Y code car with a Y4 coded 455 cubic inch engine. It MAY even be the correct numbers match engine. cannot clearly see VIN stamp on block without dis assemblying and cleaning the stamp area. it is blocked by timing cover and covered in paint. The Y4 on right side of front of block is clearly visible and denotes 1974 455. The body is in decent fixable condition. There is some rust in lower rear quarters. the bottoms of the doors need steel replacement as well. The usual rust areas around rear window is solid. The floors and undercar are decent. do not see any major rot. The interior needs to be totally redone. the back of back seat is missing. The stainless front & rear window trim is missing. The car runs and drives. it does need the front end bushings replaced. the brake system needs to be overhauled and the same goes for fuel tank. The car has been sitting in dry storage for the past 5 years. You are bidding on a car that needs to be restored ! This is a car worth restoring. all the fundamentals are here. it is a " right" car to invest in as the worth of these cars increases every year not to mention that these are the last true factory muscle cars of its era.
