Up for sale we have a 1965 Pontiac GTO. This is real GTO with PHS Documentation. It has had a full restoration with the Numbers Correct 389 along with Power Steering and Brakes. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Pontiac, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start with the exterior of the GTO. When you look down the sides it's laser straight with good fit of the panels. Everything is covered in the Reef Turquoise which is the factory color for this GTO. The paint has a deep rich shine and in the jams and trunk it all looks nice. All the glass looks good as does the trim around them. The grill and other trim also looks good. When you look at the bumpers they all look like new. At the time of the resto new weather stripping was installed around the doors and trunk. To finish off the look this GTO is sitting on a set of body color steel rims that has dog dish hub caps and a new set of Red Line Tires.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the '65. On the inside it's done in the factory Turquoise color scheme. It has the factory bucket seats and console with a Hurst Shifter. Looking at the dash it has the gauges and factory tach with the 5100 Red Line. An aftermarket radio and under dash gauges have been added. This GTO comes with the factory style seat belts.
Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Pontiac. Under the hood it's power by the Numbers Correct 389 Block with the '65 Model Tri Power Set Up. This is a factory Three Speed car that still has a 3 Speed in it. Also, this GTO comes with Power Steering and Power Brakes. The radiator has been changed out to an Aluminum One. The sound comes from the stock manifolds and new dual exhaust. The detail work under the hood is great with slick inner fenders painted black along with the firewall and radiator support. When you look under this ride the floors look good with a new fuel tank and lines.
