We are selling my wife's 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT Coupe with Ram Air 3400 V-6 engine system. We are the 2nd owners of the vehicle and have had it for the last 3 years. First owner was a mature woman who kept it garaged for it's first 13 years of life and it shows. It has been meticulously maintained by both the original owner and ourselves. We have put over $3000 into this vehicle since purchasing it with 45k miles to keep it looking and driving as closely as possibly as it did when it was new. It now has 84,351 miles on it.
You would never know by looking at the interior or exterior of this vehicle that it is 16 years old. The interior and headliner is rip, tear, and stain free. Has never been smoked in and has no odors whatsoever. It does have the typical expansion of the dash pad around the gauge clusters as 99.9% of all Grand Am's have from the years 99-05. However, you cannot notice it as we installed a color matching carpeted dash cover on the dash itself. The body of the car is rust free due to regular washes and waxes. The rear wing spoiler could use to be refinished as it has the typical clear coat fade & peeling as almost all of them have. I was going to purchase a new one, but it was never a necessity according to my wife who has been driving it on a daily basis for the past 3 years.
Car as we know it needs absolutely nothing but a new owner and is coming up due for a front end alignment. We just purchased 2 new vehicles and therefore are selling this one as we do not need a 3rd vehicle in our home. Pennsylvania Inspection is good until the end of September, so it will need a new inspection on or before September 31st, 2016.
Besides the Ram Air Engine, the car also has all the features of the 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT Coupe that was offered with the exception of the sunroof and leather. The original owner ordered the car with no sunroof, however with a power driver's seat, that unbelievably.... still works! Grand Am power seats are known for absolute failure during their first 40k miles of driving due to the gears being made of plastic. But this one still operates flawlessly and also has the SUPER RARE manual lumbar adjustment on the driver's seat as well.
So for the record, this Grand Am Coupe has all of the following: 3400 v6 engine with ram air, automatic transmission, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, air conditioning, tilt wheel, cruise control, power driver's seat, driver's manual lumbar support seat, am/fm cd player, 16 inch alloy wheels (no wheel rash, curb scrapes, etc.), rear wing spoiler, GT ground effects package, fog lights, rear defroster.
